Nina has always been artistic and frequently received the "Best In Show" award at numerous art shows while in school. Nina went on to sell her first piece at age 12. Additionally, she was that year's regional "Gold Key" recipient from the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers for her submitted oil painting "Wise Eyes" which was her first oil painting. Nina's emerging art was displayed for one year at the Keller, TX conference center and was then moved to a more permanent place at her school's district head quarters. Nina's art is also continually on display at various community businesses and one local gallery. On occasion she is invited by other artists to contribute in a combined presentation and social functions.
Charity is important to Nina. She works with photographer, Maryam Khosravipour, and Project 3rd World Child.
Nina has other interest also. She is a black belt in taekwondo and has been active in taekwondo for over 7 years. She also enjoys drama, cooking, and gardening.
